According to an auto-generated message, this article at 41KB needs to be broken into something less than 39KB. My feeling is that much of it would be better handled in separate articles, rather than in one big entry like this and my inclination is to start spinning off pieces (all with appropriate links remaining). The material about Église Saint Étienne du Mont is fascinating, but probably is an example of something that is appropriately moved.
I've started marking additional links that need to appear, but have only just made a start.
