A. THE SAINTS AND BLESSEDS

NOTE: This section can be treated at various times during the course of the year, according to the liturgical celebration of the feasts. A saint can be given to each novice. They are responsible for researching and presenting the life of the saint at the appropriate time.

GOAL: Understand the Vincentian values in the lives of the heroes of the community.

The lives of each of the saints and blesseds can be followed by a discussion of the following questions:

1. What does this saint's life teach us about living the Vincentian charism?
2. What Vincentian values do we find in this saint's life?
3. What can we learn from this saint?
4. Which aspects of this saint's life would no longer be valid?
